Real Health Care Reform is Alive and Well in New Mexico
Jane Blume
In January of 2009, AIBA's Board of Directors voted to join the Health Security for New Mexicans Campaign, a statewide coalition of 150 organizations (plus hundreds of individuals) that support passage the Health Security Act. HSA will be introduced into the 60-day, 2011 New Mexico legislative session. If passed, it will ensure that all New Mexicans have affordable, quality health coverage.
In her presentation, Jane Blume CMC® will provide an overview of the Health Security Act and how it dovetails with the national health care reform legislation, which Congress passed and President Obama signed into law in March of this year.
