AIBA is co-sponsoring the showing of a very interesting documentary the first weekend of November.  Come see "Paperback Dreams" at The Guild Cinema (AIBA Member, 3405 Central NE).  It's FREE.  Showings are Sat., Nov 1st and Sun., Nov. 2nd, both at 2:00.  The film is brought to Albuquerque courtesy of Bookworks (AIBA member).

The film tells the story of two indie bookstores in the Bay Area that helped shape social change, including the movement to support local, independent businesses.  The filmmaker will be there to answer questions.
