Congrats to Dekker/Perich/Sabatini for EPA Designations!

From NM Biz Weekly:

Six projects in New Mexico designed by Dekker/Perich/Sabatini were recognized last week by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for their environmental aspects.

Five of those were awarded the "Designed to Earn the Energy Star"
designation for energy efficiency. Those projects include public
schools in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, a student dorm for New Mexico Highlands University and Thornburg Companies' new campus in Santa Fe. These projects also were recognized at the American Institute of Architects' national convention in Boston on May 15.

The design firm's Jefferson Green headquarters, at 7601 Jefferson
NE, received an Energy Star award this week based on its energy
efficiency performance. The award recognizes buildings that rate a 75
or better on a scale of 1 to 100. Jefferson Green rated a 99, placing
it in the top 1 percent of buildings in the U.S. for energy efficiency.

Albuquerque's Dekker/Perich/Sabatini was the only New Mexico firm to earn the Energy Star designations this year.

(Note: We've having our Indie Week fiesta at the Jefferson Green HQ on Tuesday, July 1. More details coming soon.)
