You've got little time and less money - so here are some tools you can (easily) use to improve your emarketing.
A $10.00/year web domain with free email, at Google Apps
You'll be more memorable, easier to find, and credible if your email is at your domain. (Plus, free services such as AOL pre-screen your emails for spam so you may never get them. They also insert ads into your emails, which looks unprofessional. You want people focusing on you.)
Free Online file sharing and document backup (across multiple computers) at Dropbox. (No tech skills required to install.) Great for geographically dispersed teams. (I use it as do my clients.)
Free Online Project Management and File Sharing at WebCollab. Lightweight, but can get the job started.
Free blog/web site software at Wordpress. Sure, you'll have to get a little technical, but with over 70 free templates at WP, you can "build" a nice-looking web site in an afternoon (here's an example.) And you can easily move to your own domain from WP. Want to test the social media waters? Set up a free blog at WP and give it a go. They host it for you. One of the very best Content Management Systems (CMS) around. If you can use MS Word, you can use Wordpress.
